One team across
the reality-capture stack.
Each service can stand alone, but the value is strongest when capture, processing, modeling, coordination, and delivery are planned as one workflow.
LiDAR Scanning
Existing-conditions capture for buildings, industrial facilities, construction, infrastructure, and complex environments.
Discuss scanning →Aerial Surveys
Drone-based imagery and LiDAR workflows for large sites, exteriors, roofs, infrastructure, and difficult-to-access areas.
Discuss aerial capture →Scan-to-BIM Modeling
Convert captured existing conditions into useful Revit/BIM models aligned to project scope and required level of detail.
Discuss Scan-to-BIM →BIM Consulting
Workflow planning, standards, implementation, reality-capture integration, software selection, and team enablement.
Discuss consulting →MEP Coordination
Use captured reality and coordinated models to support routing, clash review, installation planning, and field validation.
Discuss coordination →Virtual Tours & Digital Twins
Create visual spatial references and digital environments for remote access, documentation, operations, and collaboration.
Discuss digital twins →Design Services
Support renovation, retrofit, layout, existing-condition documentation, and downstream design work using captured data.
Discuss design support →Training & BIM Resources
Help internal teams adopt scanners, software, field practices, processing workflows, BIM standards, and repeatable delivery methods.
Discuss training →Reality Capture Assist
Bring True Point Precision into the workflow where your team needs help: field collection, processing, QA/QC, modeling, consulting, or overflow capacity.

The technology comes second. We start with what you need to make, measure, coordinate, document, or decide.
Set the requirement
Scope, accuracy, coverage, coordinate system, output, LOD, software, schedule, and downstream users.
Collect the right data
Static LiDAR, mobile SLAM, spatial cameras, aerial capture, or a blended approach depending on the project.
Process & model
Registration, point clouds, 3DGS, meshes, Revit/BIM, coordination models, and other required project outputs.
Make it useful
Provide the files, model, environment, documentation, or workflow your project team actually needs.
Capture it.
Understand it.
Use it.
True Point Precision supports the entire reality-capture workflow: data collection, aerial capture, Scan-to-BIM, digital twins, BIM consulting, coordination, training, and design support. Engage us for a single deliverable or for the complete workflow.
Have a site, problem, or deliverable in mind?
Send us the project information. We can recommend the capture method, scope the modeling effort, or support only the part your team needs.
Your projectquestions.
Understand the workflow, define your deliverables and plan your project with True Point Precision.
Does True Point Precision provide reality capture consulting in Toronto and across Canada?
True Point Precision supports reality capture and BIM workflows across Canada. For projects in Toronto, elsewhere in Ontario or another province, contact our team with your location and requirements to confirm project coverage, site access, scheduling and the appropriate service scope.
What reality capture and BIM services does True Point Precision offer?
Our services include LiDAR scanning, aerial capture, Scan-to-BIM modeling, BIM consulting, MEP coordination, virtual tours and digital twin workflows, design support, training and reality capture assistance. Engage our team for one project stage or discuss a complete capture-to-delivery workflow.
Can you help choose equipment and plan a scanning workflow?
Yes. True Point Precision can help define capture methods, software requirements and the workflow around your intended deliverable. We discuss accuracy, coverage, site conditions, coordinate requirements, schedule and downstream users before selecting a system. Explore our scanner comparison or rental options if your team will carry out the capture.
What is Scan-to-BIM, and can you work from existing scan data?
Scan-to-BIM converts captured existing conditions into a BIM model for an agreed project scope and level of detail. True Point Precision offers processing and modeling support. If you already have scans, ask our team to review data coverage, quality, coordinates and required outputs before confirming the modeling scope.
How do you create a digital twin of a building using 3D scanning?
Start by defining the intended use, required accuracy and information needed. Capture the building, register and check the scan data, then prepare the agreed point cloud, model or spatial environment. For an operational digital twin, plan how asset information and updates will connect to the representation. True Point Precision supports capture, processing, modeling and workflow planning; confirm platform integration requirements separately when scoping the project.
What is the difference between a point cloud, a BIM model and a digital twin?
A point cloud records sampled 3D positions from a capture. A BIM model represents building elements with geometry and information. An operational digital twin connects a digital representation with information about its physical counterpart over time. A scan, BIM model or virtual tour can provide a foundation, but does not automatically include live operational data or connected systems.
Which 3D scanner is best for an architectural project?
The appropriate scanner depends on the accuracy, site conditions, capture speed and deliverables your project needs. True Point Precision can discuss static LiDAR, mobile SLAM, spatial cameras or a blended approach. Define the measurement and modeling requirements first, then select equipment and a workflow that meet them.
What deliverables can True Point Precision provide?
Depending on the agreed scope, deliverables can include registered point clouds, meshes, 3D Gaussian Splatting scenes, Revit/BIM models, coordination models, spatial environments and project documentation. Confirm formats, coordinates, required detail, quality checks and the software your team uses before capture begins.
Can you support only part of our project or train our team?
Yes. True Point Precision can assist with field collection, processing, QA/QC, modeling, consulting or overflow capacity. Training can cover scanners, software, field practices, processing workflows and BIM standards. Tell our team which tasks you will handle internally and where you need support.
What information do you need to quote a reality capture project?
Share the site location and size, access conditions, project dates, required accuracy, coverage and deliverables. Include your software, coordinate requirements, existing scan data and modeling detail where relevant. Discuss your project with True Point Precision so we can confirm scope, scheduling and pricing.
