What should I confirm before renting a Matterport Pro3?
Before booking a Matterport Pro3 rental, confirm whose Matterport account will be used, the required subscription, processing arrangements, hosting duration and any export or additional deliverable costs. Include whether the property has indoor or outdoor areas and when the walkthrough must be ready. Do not assume account access or hosting is included in the equipment rental.
Does a scanner rental include processed point clouds or a BIM model?
Finished deliverables are not automatically included with equipment rental. Confirm whether you need raw capture data, registered point clouds, a virtual walkthrough, a 3D Gaussian Splatting model, CAD drawings or a BIM model. These outputs use different workflows and may require separate software, processing or modelling services. True Point Precision can discuss the scope, timing and cost of processing and Scan-to-BIM support.
Can I rent a Leica BLK360 G2 or NavVis VLX 3 from True Point Precision?
No. Leica BLK360 G2 and NavVis VLX 3 are not available for rental through True Point Precision. Their images and descriptions are included for comparison only.
